Workshop: Volunteering for Veterans

I really enjoyed learning about the AFRH and how I can one day volunteer there. I’ve been looking for ways to become connected with the DC community and volunteer and this seems like the perfect place.

I learned all about the AFRH's history and mission and the different services that volunteers can provide for its residents.

I learned about the responsibilities of volunteers for the veterans program. I was also able to learn more about the other potential volunteers and their experience within a service capacity. Again, although today was training, I now know more about the service in general and the possibilities offered on campus at GW.
