About
This project will involve working with the Village Programming Committee to identify, plan, and implement new events of interest to Village members. We are particularly seeking help identifying long-term partnerships with GW student organizations and courses that would facilitate intergenerational participation. Programs could include book clubs, crafting, games, music and theatre or any other activities.
Partner Organization: Foggy Bottom West End Village
Foggy Bottom West End Village is a nonprofit membership organization that provides services for its members to help them comfortably age in their community by supplying social events, health support, and many other offerings. The Village’s work goes beyond just neighbors helping neighbors, as members get to know one another and enhance and enrich each other’s lives.

This project is for students in the Community Engagement section of BADM 4001. Students must submit an application and be selected for a project before they can enroll.
Students serving five hours per week will meet the 70-hours of service expected for the course. Orientation, training, and work toward project goals, whether completed on or off-site, all contribute toward this requirement. Time spent traveling to/from site or completing course reflection assignments does not.
