I volunteered as a dog-handler at the Lucky Dog Animal Rescue adoption event held at PetSmart Alexandra on November 2. I was a dog handler for Raybands, a shy, kind dog. I introduced him to potential adopters, helped him feel more comfortable in the environment, and assisted in showcasing his personality to people who might adopt him. This organization’s mission is to find safe, loving homes for animals.

On October 25, 2025, I volunteered at the Community of Hope: Bellevue Family Success Center Fall Book Festival through GivePlus as part of my Biology 01 community service requirement. During the event, I helped distribute books to families, assisted with setup and cleanup, and supported activities that encourage literacy and community health. This experience helped me see how health and education are connected; many of the families who attended the event were learning about resources that promote well-being.
