Miriam's Kitchen: Direct Service Opportunity

Volunteers help to prepare and serve healthy, nutritious meals or distribute clothing and toiletries to our guests. Volunteers also help with behind-the-scenes tasks of creating coffee packets, sorting items in our clothing closet or sorting the mail. All volunteer roles are in person - we don't have virtual volunteer jobs.

Miriam's Kitchen is open Monday - Friday and closed on the weekends.
We are located at 2401 Virginia Avenue, NW - inside Western Presbyterian Church.
Morning shifts are from 6:00-8:30 am and afternoon shifts are from 3:00-5:30 pm.

All volunteers must be fully vaccinated.

After watching a virtual volunteer orientation, you will be able to schedule shifts in our online scheduling system.
