About
GFH aims to create and support community health programs based around urban horticultural spaces such as gardens and farms. We believe that people's engagement with nature can improve mental, social, physical, and environmental health.
We offer community service opportunities that involve gardening, nutrition education, and cooking demonstrations. We also offer research opportunities working with our community based partners to help document their impact in the communities they serve.
GroW For Health seeks to improve community members' physical, mental, social, and environmental health through engagement with horticultural spaces and activities!
Varied volunteer opportunities throughout the year. Garden hours are Tuesdays 3-4pm, Thursdays 1-2pm, and Sundays 10am-12pm.
To volunteer, contact Sharad Wertheimer and Qi Hu at growforhealth.gw@gmail.com.
