Foggy Bottom West End Village: Direct Service Opportunity

Open Opportunity

About

The Foggy Bottom West End Village is a nonprofit membership organization that provides services for its members, who are older adults in the community, to help them comfortably age in their community by supplying social events, health support, and many other offerings. The Village’s work goes beyond just neighbors helping neighbors, as members get to know one another and enhance and enrich each other’s lives.

Student volunteers from GW courses work with our members for 20-30 hours (1-2 hours per week). Students meet with isolated members of the Village and occasionally run errands (grocery shopping, etc.).

Students interested in serving should reach out to Jonas Frumpkin the volunteer coordinator (jfrumkin@fbwevillage.org).
