I spent an entire afternoon picking up trash along a very popular, very polluted hiking trail in Skyline Park near my neighborhood— and finished with four bagfuls!
I helped someone in need today by going out and shopping/picking up prescriptions for them as they felt unsafe leaving their home. This was one of my favorite activities as I got to interact directly with those in my neighborhood (the man who I delivered to was very nice and extremely grateful).
I volunteered virtually with the Free Minds Book Club blog for youth incarcerated as adults who are participating in book and writing clubs. I read a large variety of poems written by inmates and wrote back responses and feedback with regards to each specific poem, including places of strength and admiration as well as suggesting areas for revision.
I shared a recipe for making parmesan chicken and salad along with photos of the final product and my family enjoying the meal.
I shared a photo of my daily exercise routine (yoga) along with a link to my favorite guided workout video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KsVwAs9LriQ).
Volunteered at Martha's Outfitters this afternoon— the staff was very nice and I thoroughly enjoyed lending a hand!
Volunteered with the Joyful Market at Randle Highlands Elementary through Martha's Table. Everything was very well organized and it was a joy to participate.
