I cooked leek and potato soup at home (Hong Kong) for my family following a traditional Welch recipe. The dish was garnished with homemade croutons and extra virgin olive oil

We were given the option to tutor virtually as a way to serve the community in the time of this health crisis. Since I am currently living separately from my family, I spent a total of 11 hours over the past few weeks assisting my 10 year old brother with his English coursework and working to enhance his reading and writing abilities through Zoom.
Great way to learn more about the biodiversity on the GW campus. Enjoyed using iNaturalist to survey species- its an intuitive and easy to use app.
Great way to give back to the community by engaging in food service work to prepare meals for the underprivileged.
I had a great timing serving the community through food prep. The parameters of the service session were clearly laid out in the orientation, and the staff were encouraging and made us feel very welcome. For future sessions, I hope that we (the participants) get the chance to prep a greater variety of food items.
