We packed take home grocery bags for students at the KIPP school. The ingredients came directly from farms and were fresh produce: onions, cranberry sauce, lettuce, celery, macaroni, and an assortment of fruits. It helps students eat healthy and learn about nutrition.

I had a wonderful experience with Martha's Table helping set up and operate a market for the students of KIPP (DC Benning Campus). We had set up tables and fruit/vegetable stands. I ran the smoothie and salad table. This month's theme for Martha's Table is Vitamin C, so both the salad and smoothie were orange-based. A man named Rock led the market and organized all of the volunteers very well.
