We cut butternut squash, made fried chicken, helped package butternut squash and seasoned fries
I was able to work with mixed fruit once again, picking grapes off their stems, mixing pineapples, grapes, melons and cantaloupe in a huge pot and then was able to put them into containers, table them and box them
Peeled Potatoes, Cut them and made them into French fries and then seasoned them as well as put fish slices into containers
It was a long long day, cutting onions which made me cry, green peppers and squash
Different day today, super interesting. Helped out the staff make mixed fruit and put labels on fruit baskets
This experience was super interesting, every day is a different day while doing service for example the first time I went, I only cut squash but this past Friday, I cut and peeled carrots and helped the chefs
For my first day, getting to the location as hard because of the signs but once I did get there, it was fun meeting people from outside GW and inside GW who volunteered as well.
