Arrived at Lab on time to Garden
Great day picking up compost and planting arugula!
A great time with Julian and Sophia
Planted beets, kale, and Swiss chard. Cleaned greenhouse.
GW Green House Orientation and sea grass replanting.
As my first off campus service experience of the semester, me and three other members of GW Baywatchers participated in an effort moving oysters shells collected at GW from D.C. area restaurants to the Maryland Oyster Restoration Center. After moving the oyster shells to a van for transportation, we drove to Shady Side, MD where we deposited the shells for use in the center's oyster setting initiative.
