I worked with Ruth today on long division

I worked with Ruth for the first half hour (before my power cut out and our session ended early). On top of working on Readworks, she showed me some magic tricks, which I thought was a nice way of easing into the session.

This afternoon I worked with Listo Rapido and we broke out into rooms to think through the college essay. I worked with two students and asked them questions about themselves to begin their thinking about what they will write about. I offered advice on where/how to get started and general tips for writing.

This morning I worked with Listo Rapido to talk about the common application. I broke out into a room with three students and we discussed their questions about college and where they are looking to go.

For the first hour I worked with Ruth. We did ELI tutoring and read her book.
For the second hour I did ELI tutoring with two students.

Today I did ELI tutoring for three students

For the first hour I worked with Ruth. We started reading from her chosen book: Dork Diaries. I shared my screen with the book while she read out loud to me.
For the second hour, I worked with ELI students.
