Volunteering at the Health Fair for St. Matthews doing things like vitals, the TUG, and grip strength was such an amazing and fun learning experience. Meeting the people in the community and being able to educate them about certain aspects of their health was something I'll never forget.
We went in for a second time to check another area of the retirement home for adequacy of their assistive devices and equipment. Again, everything went smoothly and the staff was kind and helpful in navigating and assisting us with our service when needed.
I had a great time checking assistive devices and equipment for the residents of the AFRH. The staff was very welcoming and friendly and the residents were kind and were willing to let us take up their space and time to help them out.
Cleaned up trash and other debris around Rock Creek Conservancy park. Feedback would be to make clear on what times we would be there. I expected to be there for 2+ hours and we were only there for about an hour or so I believe.
