Working with Community Engagement Consulting has allowed me the opportunity to give back to the DC community while learning more about both social impact and business topics. I have had the chance to work with City Gate, a nonprofit organization that offers after-school programming for students K-5 - The program offers educational sessions and meals to the children. CEC presents deliverables and actionable items to the Executive Directors of each of our partner nonprofits; these deliverables are created and implemented by our team members to assist in the proliferation of our respective nonprofit clients. Since having joined CEC, I have found that the work we've done has exceeded my overall expectations. CEC allows its members the opportunity to work on the front end of nonprofit engagements and design creative pieces to assist nonprofit organizational impact and growth.
