It was great to learn how to perform CPR with my teammates so that I would feel confident to help in an emergency. Being on the water and sailing can sometimes lead to a dangerous situation so knowing the steps to take in an emergency is super important.
It was great to spend a couple hours cleaning up a place where I spend a lot of time doing what I love. Because of us, the marina became a much cleaner place.
Today I got to clean up the Washington Sailing Marina that I sail out of. It was great to pick up trash and make an impact on the environment surrounding the marina.
I helped prep meals for Martha's table by working alongside the kitchen staff. It was great to see people come together to help feed the less fortunate.
