I served with Jumpstart by helping preschoolers build their literacy skills. That was accomplished by creating weekly session plans and sessions on different books each week.
I always do yoga for an hour every Sunday morning.
I made rice and banga stew for my cousins. It’s a traditionally nigerian cuisine, and this was actually my first time making it, so I am excited that it turned out delicious.
I work with Jumpstart organization, and we spend weekday mornings tutoring pre-school children their reading, writing, and social-emotional skills. We usually do it two-days out of every week at Gap Childcare Center, but because of Corona outbreak we had to switch to virtual learning. So instead we just made literacy packets for the children, and shared with their parents.
I helped my grandparents with their yard work like taking out the trash and also helped them to carry in several things like their groceries, and they also needed help lifting heavy boxes and other items.

I donated the following to my church who is still serving those in need. This was leftover food from my dorm. I left most of the food with the organization, The GW Store, back in DC. But I brought some things back home to donate to my church.
I tutored my student, and worked with her on building those essential reading and writing skills.
