This is part of the hospital's for-credit diversity training. I spoke to physicians, nurses, and hospital staff on working with their diverse clients. In honor of the Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders cultural heritage month and in response to the tragic shootings in Atlanta, I addressed specifically ways to fight anti-Asian racism and misogyny.

Ethics and social justice are key components in my service, teaching and research. Following the tragic shootings in Atlanta, I gave a talk and led an interactive workshop on fighting anti-Asian racism. It was attended by hundreds of people, and their feedback suggests that it was a very productive community event.
