Spring 2019 Nashman Center Symposium on Community Engaged Scholarship

My group and I worked with The CAIR Coalition as a part of our community engaged project for our Ethical Leadership (HSSJ 2200) course this semester. We were proud to present our project about the Country Conditions Reports and hear from the other HSSJ students wha they have been working on all semester. I also attended a discussion led by Tara Scully after the student presentations, and we discussed sustainability in a casual, yet informative and engaging setting.

I loved serving with Free Minds! I am passionate about the criminal justice system, and by writing letters to those who are incarcerated, I got to hear their stories firsthand and get more context to the criminal justice system.
