Colonial Harvest

I worked the Martha's Table Market PM at the Southeast location. Here, I helped incoming community members shop in the mini grocery store pantry, directing them on how many / which foods they were able to take. I filled their grocery bags, and restocked as necessary.

I worked the Baking Enthusiast shift, where I helped make dozens of muffins for underprivileged people in the DC area. We started from scratch, combing the ingredients, putting them in the oven, and packaging them for delivery. We also washed all of the dishes used and aided with cleanup.

I worked the morning Mini Market, where I prepared the food, made up grocery bags for incoming community members, and restocked as necessary.

Colonial Harvest Day:
1:30-3:00 -- shift on collection day
3:00-10:00 -- delivery

Colonial Madness miracle minute

I worked the Joyful Food Market at the Southeast location. Here, I helped set up the market by transporting the food around to its desired place and setting up the displays of food. I worked one of the tables as the community members came in as well. Finally, I helped clean up the room, put the food into storage, and made sure everything was tidy.

I worked the food tidy up shift, cleaning the kitchen and helping to package the food for delivery. I specifically helped clean the oven, stove, and tables.
