Hello everyone!

If you didn't know, the annual Symposium on Community-Engaged Scholarship is coming up on December 9th from 12:30-3:30pm. It is a great event where students, faculty, and community partners come together to share about the work they've been doing all semester. This year, the founder of DC Central Kitchen is actually the keynote speaker. (And DCCK is also catering the event for lunch!)

If you would like to join us just to learn, you may. You also have the option of presenting on your service, if you'd like. If you intend to join, please register here by December 1st: https://gwserves.givepulse.com/event/119804-Fall-2019-Nashman-Center-Symposium-on-Community-Engaged-Scholarship

As always, let me know if you have any questions, about the symposium or otherwise. Don't forget to log your hours from your service at DCCK as well!
Hi all!

Thanks so much for serving at DCCK earlier this week. To record your impact there, you can use this link: https://givepul.se/i1ykde --- click add impact, fill out the necessary information, and then make sure to check 'SOC 2189' for the sharing settings and hit the green 'add impact' button at the end to finish.

If you are choosing a service option for your class please let me know what community partner you are serving with and I'll make sure we add them to your class page so that all of your hours are counted easily.
