1. I think the showcase that was most impactful is the one talking about GW Compost. The belonging group members went to collect and weigh compostable materials such as food scraps, coffee grounds, and dairy products. We also have compost collection back in high school which I think it's really important and helpful for the environment and the community to keep a clean place.
2. I went to the Session in continental ballroom, the beyond service one. I've learned that there’s value for non-profits. You can volunteer or intern in non-profit, build your network, and gain work experience at the same time.

Martha's Table Food Market was a great experience and I learned about other parts of D.C that I was unfamiliar with.

Martha's Table was a good opportunity to interact with DC's impoverished community.

I volunteered at Martha´s Table at their Outfit Department. Experienced a nice time, I sorted clothes according to colour codes, helped them to collect information (addresses, emails) from their customer databases by doing phone call. Doing service projects is a great way to get involved with the community and to know other parts of the communities that you did not know from before. The outfit department was located in a new community where I never have been before, but the first impression I got from the people was really positive. A great place, with great staff and customer.

I went to Christ House for community engagement with my group. We have helped and engaged with faculties and patients for sanitation, organization of basement storage, and food serve in Christ House. All faculties there were very helpful in terms of instructing us how to do our assigned work. Patients are friendly and we had casual conversations.
