Overall, it was an experience that really helped me to understand the importance of engaging in community activities.

Question 1. The presentation I liked the most was the Martha's Table Outfitters, which was about clothing success presentation. It revolved around preparing members for a job interview, meetings, professional get together and professional clothing system. I guess it is very important as it will help the members in the future for getting jobs, moreover, this could also help them secure their future.
Question 2. I attended the " Last Call" session which was about food wastage. I think this was very impactful as wastage of food is a huge problem across the globe. This population of people who have to sleep without eating is at high inflation and there is so much food not used. Moreover, it was statistically proven that the quantity of food produced by humans globally is sufficient for every person to live without a food problem.

It was a great time where we engaged with the students at Burrville Elementary School. We entertained the children by dancing and coloring and served fresh produce to over 145 families. I personally managed the fruit station and had a wonderful time meeting new people and working with the other volunteers.

It was an extremely self-fulfilling experience which truly reenforced the value of community service to me. Now I will be a lot more conscious on the service aspect in the corporate world and willy try to reach out to more organizations to continue my service plans in the future.

I was able to help the community by ensuring they had access to affordable clothing options. It was a really great experience to help maintain a clean and positive environment at Martha's Outfitters.

I absolutely loved volunteering here. The staff makes you feel like family and the guests are appreciative of those who serve them.

It was nice to have an opportunity to engage hands-on with the less fortunate side of DC. It is important to have an idea of what the whole community looks like.
