I spent 2 1/2 hours on Sunday morning doing food preparation at Martha's Table's new location at the Maycroft in Colombia Heights. Me and the other volunteers worked on making a fish stew that would be distributed later that evening by McKenna's Wagon - Martha's Table's mobile food truck.

Yesterday, I helped The Store tidy up their location in the District House basement. In addition to providing food to GW students, they also have a small clothing donation section. Students utilizing The Store will often try on an article of clothing and fail to rehang it on a coat hanger if it doesn't fit. I spent my time organizing the clothing section as well as collecting and hanging donations from professional Greek organizations that we picked up from the Center for Student Engagement. I was with a member of The Store's Executive Board and other volunteers.
