The GW volleyball team helped load supplies into buses, distribute t-shirts, and register register other volunteers participating in GW MLK Day.
I assisted with wrapping presents and working with kids to wrap presents for the event. I also dressed up as an elf and danced with kids and entertained them. In addition we helped clean up at the end: breaking down tables, putting away wrapping materials and extra toys, cleaning up the cupcake station, etc. I enjoyed this event a lot and look forward to participating in it again in future years.
Working for this organization is always fulfilling. The children are amazing to spend time with and the board members are so kind. The event is always very well organized and the participants seem to have a great time.

I had a great time volunteering with DC Dreams for Kids at their annual Holiday Celebration. I helped kids decorate cupcakes for homeless people, wrap presents for their families, and did face paint.

As a Trainer for grassroots, I trained future volunteers to be able to volunteer at grassroots. It is a peer to peer training and this was my 4th one! It was successful as we added new GW students to our program!
