Volunteered at the Dreams for Kids DC prom. I assisted with paparazzi: taking pictures of participants with their friends and family members. Took pictures of participants with the princesses and unicorns at the event. In addition, we danced with the kids and made sure they were having a fun time. This was a very fun event to participate in and I look forward to participating in it in future years.
Today we assisted in prom! The event was so thoughtful and wonderfully organized. The children were great!

I assisted with checking people in to the event and helping them fill out the appropriate paperwork in order for them to begin volunteering and participating in the event as well. I really enjoyed being able to support this event and I would like to participate in it again next year.
We helped load supplies into buses and distribute T-shirts and register other volunteers participating.
I assisted in moving supplies from the Nashman Center to buses parked outside of District House for volunteers to take to their assigned sites.
