Helped garden and maintain farm for DC Greens that works towards food equality in DC
Very fun, had a great time gardening and helping out a great cause
I spent my time weeding in the DC Greens garden to help ensure that their plants and vegetables continue to grow. Knowing that this food would be provided to the elementary school located next to the garden as well as improve food access in general was very rewarding.

I attended the Back on my Feet event in conjunction with FCA and led a small group to help recovering homeless people with thier mindfulness and stress relief.
I attended the Back on my Feet event led by GW FCA and assisted in leading a small group discussion on mindfulness and meditation.
We volunteered to help give homeless people fresh food.
Helped train student-athletes to be grassroots coaches so they themselves can teach inner-city kids in DC about sexual education. Each athlete received a grassroots coach guide with all the lessons/practices to be taught each week for 8 weeks in different schools around DC, including Kipp Will in the Shaw area. Great time and great people involved with Grassroots.
Worked concierge desk and running packages to rooms.
Helped maintain the local farm that provides fruits and veggies to underserved populations in D.C.
