Help on move in day
Helped with freshmen move-in day
Volunteered at GW freshman day of service at Thurston Dorm, Day 2!
I enjoyed helping the freshman who were moving into Thurston. It was nice to meet freshman and answer any questions they had.
Helping kid's move into their college dorm's can be stressful. Our objective was to make this process less taxing for the families who presumably have a lot of things to worry about at those times.
The women's soccer team volunteered at the Thurston dormitory and helped move in incoming freshmen.
I volunteered for freshman move in at Thurston Hall and assisted people with bins and getting their things up to their rooms. Also handed out water
I know that moving in can be a hassle, especially if there are a million kids trying to get their things together and bring this to their rooms all at once. That's why I feel it was a good contribution for me and my team to take part in. We helped student and their families move in and bring their items from their cars to their new dorm rooms. Hopefully that made their move-in-day a lot less stressful!
We helped with freshman move-in for a second day, and it was the same drill as the first time around. Only the second time around we were handing out water bottles to those moving in outside the dorm so we could give our legs a break between helping families move in.
The women's soccer team volunteered at the Thurston dormitory and helped move in incoming freshmen. I enjoyed being able to help my peers make their move in as easy as possible.
I helped freshman move their stuff into Thurston Hall on an early move-in date.
