As part of a sustainability research project, my classmates and I continued research and engaged the community with a mission of determining air pollution concerns and make recommendations for the communities of Fairfax Village and LeDroit Park.
Supported fellow colleagues and students of GW compete in the New Venture Competition Finals held in the Jack Morton Auditorium. Finalist pitched their business ideas to judges and prizes were awarded to the best companies at the end.
I had a really moving experience working along and with cancer survivors and activists to raise money for cancer research.
I participated in Relay for Life, which was quite moving. I had a really great experience talking with cancer survivors and raising awareness for cancer research.
Volunteered with kids K-8 working to put food waste in the proper receptacle and reduce waste at Francis Stevens.

Got to interact with blood donors as they donated their blood, was very rewarding as I couldn't donate myself because I have taken Malaria medicine recently.
I contributed with supplies and attended a 'Senior Prom' at St Mary's. The night was filled with board games, singing, and dancing. We interacted with the elder community and crowned the Prom's king and queen at the end of the night.
I really enjoyed my time learning about sustainably sourced chocolate with my fellow student athletes. We ventured out to RiverSea Chocolate in Dulles to learn about how and why they are working towards providing sustainably sourced chocolate to markets all around the United States.
We organized the warehouse underneath the main showroom. We organized books for different age groups, made sure electronics worked correctly and had the right light bulbs, and helped package plates and other kitchen items
Assisted in two shifts of Sippican Lands Trust cleanups in Marion MA. One was a beach clean up and the other, roadside cleanup.
Learned about local sustainable chocolate and helped out in the factory!
I directed people through the shopping area, explaining the amounts that each person was allowed to take.
This was a really impactful event, I got to engage with Greek Life members as well as learn more about getting involved with research for cancer.
I assisted with the organization, setup and cleanup of the sign the bench event to help raise money for cancer research for the Huntsman Cancer Foundation. It was a very rewarding experience because I could directly see that the actions and my help during this time aided to the efforts of sigma chi and to the huntsman cancer foundation.

Did activities with the Sigma Chi brotherhood to raise money for multiple charities.
Was present for final demonstrations and presentations for a student run 24 hour medical devices hackathon, where community members pitched problems to students. Students then had 24 hours to design, fabricate, test, and present their solutions.
