Working with Eduardo again, we were familiar with the task at hand. Another enjoyable session and looking forward to my last shift for the semester next Monday.

We helped in bagging fresh, organic produce to the families of the elementary school the farmer's market took place in. First we helped unload, then lay out all the produce of great variety, then bagged specific amounts of each item to ensure the families were getting enoug of each item, including apples, plums, lemons, bananas, potatoes, tomatos, celery, corn, onion, lettuce, and pantry items like vegetable oil and canned chicken. After bagging just over 130 bags we assisted in handing out the preassorted bags as well as with making more custom orders during the actual farmer's market that took place as the kids were getting picked up from school while getting to know the local families. It was an extremely enjoyable and rewarding experience.

I participated in the event Joyful Market at Appletree-Douglas Knoll. What I liked most about this event is that it was interactive with the children. Great experience!

I had a fantastic volunteering experience. Here, I worked on stocking and restocking shelves and hangers with garments in addition to interacting with various customers as they shopped.
