We sorted and hung clothes for Martha's Table's merchandiser in Anacostia. The clothes were for children and families in need of nice, cheap clothes.
Helped clean up the kitchen at the May weather
The market was well organized and a great environment amongst the volunteers. I love volunteering for organizations that help children and that increase access to food for those in need so combining those two things for Joyful Market was a wonderful experience.
I dressed up as a pear for the Joyful Market at Anne Beers Elementary to get younger kids excited about healthy eating.
I participated in the joyful market with Martha's Table, giving out groceries to children at an elementary school.
I volunteered in the store front and organized clothes and cleaned the shelves.
I worked at the Joyful Food Market. We made bags full of groceries for students at an elementary school.
A great experience.
I worked at Martha's Outfitters where they sell clothes for families with children. I stamped bags, shelved shoes, and hung clothing.
Today I finished my service with Martha's Table. It was the final time going and serving with them. I enjoyed my service and helping the community through my service with them.
Was a good clean-up session. Same as last week, with additional work sorting through donations.
