INFORMATION FOR Fall 2022 INSTRUCTORS

Resources to share with students.
Send them here: https://go.gwu.edu/CESCourses  We have a new guide to reporting in GWserves, a general guide for students in CES courses, and guidance to navigating DCPS Clearance.
DCPS Clearance
Huzzah! It’s quicker this year, promise. Instructions for students are at the link above.  The key difference is a new category of volunteer has been created in their system: the SUPERVISED VOLUNTEER. The supervised volunteer (as our students all are) has fewer hoops to jump through in the clearance process.
Liability Waivers
If your students will be serving on site, they should take the 2-3 minutes it requires to complete GW’s liability waiver form. This has been shared with your students already and I will be tracking completion course by course. Once students have completed the waiver, they will stop getting reminders from me, built-in rewards! A reminder from you goes a long way though, so please mention it in class (they’ll have received an email with a link).
