Volunteer Coordination for Athens-Clarke County COVID-19


Thank you for your interest in volunteering to support individuals impacted by Covid-19 in our community. Please be sure to become a member (above) so that you can find this page quickly in your dashboard.

If you are looking to volunteer or donate supplies, please consider the following:
  • Know the CDC Guidelines for protecting yourself (and others): https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prepare/prevention.html 
  • If you are feeling sick or have a temperature you should not volunteer
  • If you have come in contact with someone who has covid-19 you should not volunteer
  • Volunteers should practice social distancing and maintain at least 6 feet between each other
  • Volunteers should wash their hands frequently
  • Volunteers should avoid touching their face during engaging in volunteer activities
  • Volunteers should review and follow all event details closely when signing up for opportunities

This page has been created to consolidate as many of the volunteer opportunities and supply drive needs related to covid-19 for the Athens-Clarke County community to one location. We encourage all agencies sharing opportunities to develop protocols for ensuring that volunteer opportunities are safe for members of the general public (temperature checks, hand washing protocol, safe distances for volunteers, etc.). Additionally, please take special care when creating events on this platform in order to provide specific expectations regarding volunteer protocol.
