The Humanity First Student Organization at the George Washington University is a chapter of Humanity First USA and is an international not-for-profit humanitarian relief organization established to promote safeguard & dignity in the world's most vulnerable and poor communities both locally & internationally. This organization strives to provide humanitarian aid to those affected by natural disasters and undertakes emergency relief operations through medical assistance, shelter, water, food, clothing, & sanitation to the affected populations. In addition, both short and long term projects are implemented to alleviate poverty and improve quality of life. Currently, we are working on two main projects which include the Homelessness Education and Resource Awareness (HERA) Project and monthly service initiatives such as volunteering at the N St. Village.
