Children's National Medical Center-APEP

Adolescent Prevention Education Programs (APEP) are managed by the Division of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine at Children's National Medical Center. APEP targets adolescents in the DC metropolitan area, including patients and area youth.

Mission: We provide creative, short and long-term interventions that facilitate the continuum of care for patients and DC area youth so that they can make informed and responsible decisions about their health. We do this through comprehensive life-skill education, training, support services, and partnerships with youth-serving organizations who share our vision.
