About

Description

The Petey Greene Program supplements education in correctional institutions by providing individualized tutoring. We work to promote academic achievement in prison classrooms in order to support people and build stronger communities.

We tutor in several nearby correctional facilities in the DMV area, primarily at Montgomery County and Prince George's County Correctional Facilities in Maryland. Groups of 2-4 members tutor Monday-Friday and teach a variety of subjects in preparation for the GED exam.

Our Fall 2019 Priority Application is due Monday April 15!
