Virtual Book Club: GW Sustainability and Nashman Center

Thursday, March 25th, 2021 from 12:00am to 1:00pm (ET)

About

Faculty in the GW Sustainability Community and Nashman Center Affiliate Faculty are invited to join us Thursday March 25th at noon for the first meeting of a virtual lunch book club. Given our common interest in working in partnership with our local community, we plan to discuss Chocolate City: A History of Race and Democracy in the Nation's Capital (2017) by Chris Myers Asch and George Derek Musgrove. The book is available online through Gelman library and at booksellers.

This is a long text, so we recommend that you pick the chapter that is most interesting to you and come prepared to share the highlights and your thoughts. The event will take place on Zoom.
