About
Serving one's community is one way for people to maintain active citizenship in their community. This workshop will tackle complicated conversations, such as: what it means to enter a community respectfully, the consequences of 'bad service' such as voluntourism and performative activism, and what it means to make service sustainable in our communities. With the ongoing pandemic and social distancing in mind, we will also be discussing what this all means in the context of virtual service. Come join us for an open and honest discussion of what it means to be a diligent servant leader in our communities!
