Nashman FLC on CBPR: Reporting Issues

About
Those joining us in person can come to the Nashman Center. Otherwise, we'll see you on WebEx: https://gwu.webex.com/meet/wagnerw
What we will do: The GWServes platform can help faculty share their engaged scholarship in a way that allows anyone to look up where existing campus/community partnerships are. This is one of the main requests for support that I get. But the platform wasn’t designed for reporting research, and I anticipate a few hiccups at the beginning. So I need a small group of folks willing to give it a try and help me identify potential problems and solutions before we roll this out more broadly.
So come ready to report some of the CBPR projects you have engaged in over the past few years. I won’t be asking for details beyond dates of the project and who your community partners were. That said, if you have anything exciting to share from the projects - photos, links to publications or presentations for example - that would be awesome.
I know it seems like a small thing, but I won’t get other faculty excited about what the platform can do while it is empty. Once a critical mass of folks have reported their community-based initiatives, it starts getting really fun really fast. So this small thing would be a big help to me!
