This opportunity is only for individuals who have a bachelor's degree. Current GW undergrads please do not register.
The final installment of SWW student's Senior Projects is the presentation. Each SWW senior presents their original research. Historically, SWW teachers have recruited judges to assess presentations and provide constructive feedback regarding public speaking, organization, and presentation skills. This year, SWW teachers have expressed interest in recruiting judges from GW's rich academic and professional community.
Our students' topics, interests, and presentation styles are as diverse as the student body itself. With this in mind, we are looking for community members in various academic and career fields to serve as judges on the presentation panels. We would love to have professionals, professors, graduate students, and community leaders participate in this process. Our seniors must successfully complete the presentation portion of the project in order to graduate and your participation in this process would be greatly appreciated.
Interested individuals would need to be available from 12:00 noon until 4:30 PM on Friday, April 24th. Lunch will be provided from 12 noon- 1PM, during which time we will review expectations and instructions, as well as panel assignments.
If you have any questions, need further information, or would like to volunteer, please contact Senior Project Coordinator Jenine Pokorak at Jenine.Pokorak@dc.gov. Questions can also be directed to GW Nashman Center Volunteer Coordinator Cora Wolfinger at email@example.com.
