Social Innovation Fireside Chats

Last date was Tuesday, October 15th, 2019 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm (ET)

About

The Honey W. Nashman Center for Civic Engagement & Public Service defines social innovation as creative approaches to address social problems. The Nashman Center is home to GWupstart which is GW's central hub for social innovation. This semester in partnership with The Office of Sustainability and the Innovation Center we are excited to bring you a series of programs and workshops to support you in turning your ideas into action. Come join the conversation on Tuesday, October 15th from 6pm-7pm as we host Erin McGeoy, Founder & CEO of Last Call for our first Fireside Chat! Register to reserve your spot!

Through our fireside chat series, social innovators will share how they seek to address real-world problems. You will have an opportunity to hear their stories of how they got started, the challenges they face and their breakthrough moments. These fireside chats seek to inspire citizen leaders and innovators. If you have a social innovation idea GWupstart mentors would be excited to meet you and support you with training, mentoring and funding opportunities. Feel free to email us at upstart@gwu.edu with any questions.

Fall semester we will have CEO & Founder of Last Call, Erin McGeoy
This fireside chat will be moderated by GW Alum and Co-Founder of George Hacks, Konstantin Mitic.

Spring semester: we will be rescheduling our Spring Fireside Chat for Fall 2020.
