Anacostia Arts Center and ArtReach GW are proud to announce, “A Taste of Southeast” a mixed media group show from March 5 - 29, 2019. This partnership is focused on highlighting the specific cultural attributes of Southeast DC.
Culture can be defined as a way of life of a group of people. The behaviors, values, beliefs, and
the traditions of a people are all factors that play a role in defining culture . As communities in
DC continue to evolve, how does Southeast DC culture remain distinctive? The artworks
featured in this show explores the multifaceted culture of Southeast DC.
